SAVE & RESTORE OUR PARK
& THE TOP OF MOUNT PANORAMA / WAHLUU
McPhillamy Park is a special place for many.
It is the highest point in Bathurst, with sweeping views over the landscape.
Yes, we still need to save McPhillamy Park
Bathurst Regional Council needs to:
Formerly recognise the 10 acres gifted by Mrs McPhillamy as public parkland.
Reclassify ‘Mrs McPhillamy’s land’ as public open space (community land)
Confirm the land as forming part of McPhilla-my Park
Develop an approprate vision, masterplan and conservation management plan.
Re-open the ‘fenced off’ park to the public
Respect the culture of Wahluu-Mt Panorama
